Paula Spencer Scott is the author of SURVIVING ALZHEIMER’S: Practical Tips and Soul-Saving Wisdom for Caregivers; Like Mother, Like Daughter; and 7 other books on health and family, including collaborations with doctors at Harvard, UCLA, and Duke. Active in caregiver education, she’s written “Conversations in Caregiving” webcasts with Leeza Gibbons, the Alzheimer’s Universe curriculum for Weill-Cornell Medicine, and the “Steps & Stages” Alzheimer’s resource for, and often speaks on these topics. A former Woman’s Day columnist and contributing editor to Caring, WebMD, and Parenting, and a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America’s Journalists in Aging program, her work on aging and caregiving appears in Parade, AARP, Next Avenue, and elsewhere.
