American Association of Caregiving Youth Caregiver Smile Summit

Dr. Connie Siskowski is our guest on the Caregiver Smile Summit.

Dr. Connie Siskowski, RN, PhD is founder of the American Association for Caregiving Youth (AACY), which includes the Caregiving Youth Project of Palm Beach County, the first US program to support the hidden population of child caregivers, a growing affiliate network and the Caregiving Youth Institute. AACY integrates healthcare, education and the community (body, mind and spirit) to provide a strong foundation for the youth and their families. We will talk with her about the aspects of each of these systems and link the importance of wraparound support to reduce stress on youth caregivers and their families. The goal is for caregiving youth to have personal and academic success as they continue their journey to adulthood.
