Howard is co-founder and CEO of EverSafe, which monitors bank and investment accounts, credit cards, and credit data. He founded EverSafe after his mother was financially exploited and his research revealed no viable solutions to protect seniors from this devastating experience. In addition to serving as EverSafe’s CEO, Howard is lead director of Dealertrack Technologies and serves on the advisory boards of Lendkey and the George Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Howard was inducted into the George Washington University Engineering Hall of Fame in 2012.

Kristen is participating in the Caregiver Smile Summit.
Kristen spent 20 years as a television journalist, in New York, Texas, Connecticut and California. Her mother’s diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia in 2009 changed everything. She moved from San Diego to New York to help her on this difficult journey. Kristen served as a Regional Director for the Connecticut chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association while her Mom was ill, sharing what she was learning as a caregiver, and teaching people about this disease. After her Mom passed, Kristen returned to California and is now the Associate Director of Communications for the San Diego/Imperial chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Her goal is to share her caregiver hits and misses, in the hopes that her stories can help make the journey a tad bit easier for others.

She is a frequent contributor/reviewer for academic journals and magazines on aging and sexuality issues. She has been a guest lecturer on sexuality education and aging at Baylor University Medical School and has taught “Aging & Sexuality” at Eastern Michigan University since 2012. She is a long time Education Ambassador for SAGE.Shelives with her husband, WB and twin five year old daughters in Southwest Georgia.
