The16th state of the union celebrates a birthday June 1. It was also one of Guy Lombardo’s (born June 19) hits, The Tennessee Waltz. June is National Fishing Month. Here’s a great country song from Brad Paisley entitled I’m Gonna Miss Her. The first U.S. patent for the gas driven auto was given June 11; Ford was founded June 16; Charles Goodyear was granted the patent for rubber vulcanization on June 16.
